PROBLEM:

  When attempting to open a document from a passworded Zip file the following error occurs:

ZipError.jpg

CAUSE:

There are two possible causes for this issue:

  1. The Zip file may be corrupt.
  2. The archived file(s) within the zip are passworded and Windows does not recognise it.    
 
 

SOLUTION:
The Solution will depend on the cause:

  1. If the zip file is corrupt and you received it by email then request they send it again. If in doubt contact IT Support.
  2. If the Zip has password protection then a Zip file extractor program will require installing on the PC - contact IT support. DO NOT install a Zip program yourself as Software Licensing MUST be taken into account.
