AD usernames are conflicting with email address firstname.surname credentials and causing AD account lock outs.


This has been happening since mid 2024 and there has not been a proper fix since then.



1. Change username on active directory over to firstname_surname. You may also need to unlock account.


2. Change Care Portal username over to firstname.surname.


3. Access hcms-ps-01 as uniflow user (details in PWSafe). 


- Open Uniflow server configuration (from desktop) > click more information > go to this webpage (not recommended).


- Click on 'Base Data' (on left pane) > Click 'User' > Find user with firstname.surname > edit user and delete.


4. Get the user to sign in to Windows again by clicking 'other user' and signing in with firstname_surname and existing password.


5. Restart the PC.
