Active Pages are visible to the public. Deactivating your Page will hide it from the public, including the people who like or follow your Page.
Your Page won't be visible to the public until it's reactivated again. You can deactivate your Page at any time if you have Facebook access with full control of a Page.
Deactivating a Page won't delete it. Learn more about how to delete a Page.
Deactivate your Page
- Log in to Facebook, then click your profile photo in the top right.
- Click See all profiles, then select the Page that you want to switch into.
- Click your Page's profile picture in the top right of Facebook.
- Click Settings and privacy, then click Settings.
- In the left menu, click Access and control.
- Select Deactivate Page and click Continue, then follow the steps to deactivate your Page. You may be asked to enter your password.
Reactivate your Page
- Log in to Facebook to reactivate your account.
- From your main profile, click or your profile picture in the top right of Facebook.
- Select Settings and privacy, then click Settings.
- Under Your information, click Reactivate a Page.
- Find the Page that you want to reactivate and click Reactivate.
