ADDING MODELS


A model must be created for each occupancy band. To create a model,

Ensure you are on the correct site, click ‘Budgets’ in the left panel -> menu icon in upper right -> New Model


Start on: check 'date completed' field at the top of the staffing model. If there's nothing there, use the date that the regional manager told us about through a phone call/ticket/email etc.


End on: 31/12/2024


Subperiod: leave as is

Total income is on the upper right-hand side of the model:

ADDING LINES TO A MODEL


After saving a model, click the menu next to the model and click view. Click the menu in the upper right and click new line


1) Manager/Deputy Manager/Team Leader in the staffing model (as shown in the image below) correspond to Management in Portal when choosing the role


Add the hours together in the supernumerary and on roster fields for the total hours, and enter the per hour rate (Note that for Manager, put rate as 0 and do not enter the salary)


2) One to One Care in the staffing model corresponds to Care in Portal


3) Registered Nurse/Senior Care Asst/Care Assistant in the staffing model is inputted by finding the hours in the 'SCA minus Dep on roster' field, and the payrate from the field next to it:


4) Head Cook in the staffing model corresponds to the senior catering role in Portal /  Catering asst in the staffing model corresponds to catering in Portal


In the image below, 2 separate lines have to be created for senior catering as there are 2 different payrates:


5) Housekeeper/Domestic/Laundry in the staffing model correspond to the domestic & laundry role in Portal. If there are different payrates, add separate lines


6) Activities corresponds to activities in Portal. Administration corresponds to administrator in Portal


7) Maintenance/Gardener correspond to maintenance in Portal


Night/Weekend Enhancements

 

You can work the hours out by taking the total and divide by the rate – see below:
