- Send link: https://xmpc.services.xerox.com/ to end user
- Press Create User Account (bottom right) and type in email address.
- Type Company code: 88ACE4
- They should then be emailed a temporary password which they need to enter into the form, along with a new password.
- Once they are logged into the Xerox Cloud site, they need to go to Print > Desktop > Select the Pull Print driver and Run
- Run through the setup process (keep pressing Next) and once the wizard has completed, the Xerox printer will be installed in the background. You will know it's installed as a notification will appear in the bottom right corner of their screen.
- Go into Control Panel > Devices and Printers > right-click Pull Print and set as Default. Right-click again and select Printer Properties. Go into the Configuration tab and set the following defaults:
Under Installable Options
- Paper Trays: 5 Trays
- Stapler: 1, 2 and 4 Stapler Installed
- Hole Punch Module: 2 and 4 Hole Punch Unit
- Booklet Module: Installed
- Envelope Media: Disabled
- Productivity Pack: Installed
- Press OK
Admin Users (I.T staff) need to assign a PIN to the users account before they are able to log in.
- Go to Xerox Cloud (https://xmpc.services.xerox.com/)
- Click Users > Select required user and under Default card, enter their PIN. The PIN needs to be a 4-digit number, set by the end user.
Ask end user to print a test document. Go to printer, press keypad on right, type PIN number in and select Print by Xerox.
Printer normally refreshes the screen when you select that app, so be patient for a few seconds. The document should appear after the refresh.
Select Print and ensure all is working as it should.
