Security PIN 

Settings > Security > Security Setup > Advanced Security Setup > PIN > Create PIN for Printing in Colour. 

Settings > Security > Security Setup > Advanced Security Setup > Access Controls - Expand All > Copy Colour Printing - Set to No Security


Printing

Settings > Copy Settings > Untick Allow Colour Copies - ONLY DO THIS IF YOU SETTING TO B&W ACROSS THE BOARD

Settings > Print Settings > Setup Menu > Tick Black ONLY Mode - ONLY DO THIS IF YOU SETTING TO B&W ACROSS THE BOARD 


Printer Preferences - Quality > Print in Black and White - ENSURE BOTH OF THESE ARE DONE for it to be B&W.

Printer Properties - Advanced - Printing Defaults - B&W - ENSURE BOTH OF THESE ARE DONE for it to be B&W.


  1. Printing in Colour – If they want to print in colour still,  manually need to go to the Properties (in the software) and select Color Mode: Auto [Color/B&W] like in Microsoft Word, Adobe etc. 

  2. Copying in Colour – If they still want to copy in colour, literally go to the machine and input the PIN.
